PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize the reproduction of audio data when data from a transmission source arrives at a plurality of adjacent incoming stations in a computer network. SOLUTION: Audio data to be transmitted as a plurality of data packets are transmitted to the plurality of incoming stations within a range where they are mutually audible from one originating station, each data packet is originated from the originating station to each incoming station substantially at same time, a prescribed movement time is required for each arrival to the incoming station, the movement times are distributed over a certain time range and, then, the prediction is hardly performed. The titled method is provided with a step for deciding the average movement time (or a minimum movement time) of a certain data packet and a step for arranging a delay between the transmission time of the prescribed data packet and the reproduction of the prescribed data packet. The delay corresponds to a time which is equal to a value obtained by adding a fixed time to the average running time (or the minimum movement time). |
