<p>PURPOSE:To precisely restore correct data at the ON of a power supply by writing the same data in respective blocks obtained by dividing the contents of an EEPROM into three blocks or more and selecting any one of data read out from respective blocks on the basis of decision by majority. CONSTITUTION:The EEPROM1 is divided into N blocks and the same data are written in the same relative addresses of respective blocks. When the power supply is turned off during the data writing in the EEPROM1 or data erasing and then turned on, a microprocessor 2 reads out the data of the address concerned from respective blocks of the EEPROM1, compares respective data, selects any one of the data on the basis of decision by majority, and outputs the selected data as read data. Then, the selected data are written in the address concerned of the block from which data different from the selected one are read out.</p> |
