PURPOSE:To obtain a defectless ingot by connecting an oscillating body of a reciprocation type oscillating machine to an oscillatable wall body and providing an energizing means for constantly energizing the oscillating body backward in a prescribed range so that the oscillating body is speeded up when moving backward. CONSTITUTION:A molten steel receiving body 5 is oscillated by an oscillating device 6. The ingot 24 is drawn and a thin sheet is formed when a moving mold 1 moves in an arrow A direction. The 1st compressing spring 14 acts when a connecting rod 3 advances beyond a neutral point. The connecting rod 13 is then slowly advanced and when the rod 13 begins to retreat, the rod is quickly returned by the energy of the spring 14. A spring 15 acts to return the rod 13 slowly when the rod retreats beyond the neutral point. The rod 13 is quickly advanced by the energy of the spring 15 when the rod begins to advance. The freshly formed wall shell is thus solidified and adhered to the previous shell during the advance of the rear wall 5b and since the rear wall 5b returns quickly, the wall shell formed on the surface of the rear wall 5b is made thin. The defectless ingot having good quality is thereby obtd. |
