PURPOSE:To provide a precise liquid jet recording head excellent in durability, by using a specific resin composition in the preparation of the liquid jet recording head. CONSTITUTION:A liquid jet recording head is constituted by a method wherein predetermined pattern exposure using active energy rays is applied to the layer comprising a resin composition cured by active energy rays formed on a substrate to form the cured regions of the resin composition and uncured regions are removed from said layer to form liquid passages communicated with liquid emitting orifices to the surface of the substrate. Said resin composition consists of (i) a linear polyme of which the glass transition temp. is 50 deg.C or more and the wt. average MW is about 3.0X10<4> or more, (ii) an epoxy resin containing at least one of compounds each having one or more of an epoxy group in the molecule thereof and (iii) a polymerization initiator generating Lewis acid by the irradiation of active energy rays. By using this resin composition, a recording head excellent in the durability of each member and adhesion between members and having a resin cured film layer finely procesesed with good accuracy and excellent in recording characteristics and durability is obtained. |
