A plug-in coupling, especially a pushbutton coupling, for the releasable connection of dental components is provided with a female mould which is fastened with its foot part in a holding receptacle of a first dental component. In addition, the plug-in connection has a female mould which receives the male mould by plug-in coupling and which is in turn fastened with its foot part in a holding receptacle of a second dental component. The outer jacket surface of at least one foot part is located at a spatial distance in the associated holding receptacle and can be moved before introduction of a fastening material, especially a quickly curing adhesive, relative to the inner surface of the holding receptacle with an equalization measure. Advantageous absorption of the pressure by the fastening material in changing pressure directions has become possible due to the fact that the outer jacket surface of the foot part has at least two part-surfaces which are inclined relative to the longitudinal mid-axes of the foot part and of the holding receptacle. At the same time, the area normal pointing away from one outer jacket part-surface forms an acute angle with one direction of the longitudinal mid-axis of the foot part and the area normal pointing away from the other outer jacket part-surface forms an acute angle with the opposite direction of the longitudinal mid-axis of the foot part.
