PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data generation method, capable of generating image data, having low noise in a short time using a simple operation by irradiating with excitation light image carriers being formed mutually independently, distributed with two-dimensional spread, and equipped with a sample including fluorescent material at least in a part thereof, thereby to excite the fluorescent material, and by detecting photoelectrically fluorescence emitted from the fluorescent material. SOLUTION: This generation method of the image data includes a step of irradiating with excitation light the image carriers formed mutually independently, distributed two-dimensionally, and equipped with the sample including the fluorescent material at least in the part thereof, to thereby excite the fluorescent material included in the sample, stopping irradiation of excitation light to the image carrier, and, after stopping irradiation of excitation light, detecting photoelectrically the long-life time fluorescence emitted from the fluorescent material included in the sample by a CCD 6. |
