PURPOSE:To stably hot slab without skid mark, by connecting continuous high temp. applying heating furnace and roller hearth type tunnel furnace and connecting both paths for carrying material to be heated with each other to select heating course freely. CONSTITUTION:To exit side of a part 1 of walking beam type continuous heating furnace, inlet side part of a part 2 of roller hearth tunnel furnace is joined and connected to make them to one body, and a composite furnace 3 is formed. A table roller 4 composing a part of carrying path of a slab 10 joined to inlet side of the part 1, and a table roller 5 joined to inlet side of the part 2 are connected by a tale roller 7 mounted with a transfer car 6. In this way, two heating courses of hot slab treatments for direct charge and direct rolling can be selected, slab is heated with a high heat efficiency and the slab 10 without skid mark is stably supplied. |
