COLOR TELEVISION PROJECTION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A color television projection apparatus is provided to improve registration adjustment process by performing the registration adjustment for correcting picture distortion and color shifts occurring in a projection television. CONSTITUTION: An EEPROM(Electrically Erasable and Programmable ROM)(10b) stores data used to correct the registration of three projection tubes. A calculating circuit(10f) interpolates data read out from the EEPROM(10b). A D/A converter(10e) converts the output of the calculating circuit(10f) into an analog signal. An output circuit supplies the output of the D/A converter(10e) to a deflecting device of the three projection tubes. The number of bits of the data stored in the EEPROM(10b) is less than the number of conversion bits of the D/A converter(10e).
