PURPOSE:To avoid the change of a program despite the change of the data structure by giving accesses to the record for each data and editing the record again after conversion of the attribute and the length of data. CONSTITUTION:When the wages of employees are calculated, an operator sup plies a command through a keyboard 2 for calculation of wages. A command processor retrieves a group of commands registered to a disk 6d to decide a wages calculation command and loads the information on the command to a main storage 4 to prepare for calculation of wages. Then the command proces sor delivers the external interface specifications defined in the information on the wages calculation command to a data handling system in the form of a parameter and gives an indication to the handling system to receive the data needed for calculation for each record. The field information on the table is different from the external interface information on the wages calculation com mand. Thus the data is edited after the attribute, the length and the type of the data are converted for each field to the extracted record. |
