PURPOSE:To cool a part that generates heat most effectively by mounting an air blower on a base member that carries a light source and moves on the lower face of an original stand in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:An air blower 18 is fixed to a base unit 17 on which a light source 55 is installed and thereby air flowed in from an aperture part 31a on the side of the body of a copying machine 31 is passed near the lower face of an original platen 32 and blown in the direction of a light source while moving on the lower face of the original platen. Accordingly, the light source 55 can be cooled effectively at all times during execution of copying process, and the original platen 32 can also be cooled. Thus, the sticking of dust on the surface of the original platen 32 can be prevented and the shape of a image of good quality can be realized. |
