The subject of the present invention is a height control device for a motor vehicle with hydropneumatic suspension comprising a height corrector 23 with a slide valve 22 allowing a neutral position which corresponds to isolating the axle suspension circuit, an anti-roll bar 3, an articulated system with the interposition of elastic means 5 to control the slide valve 22 automatically in the direction of the median section of the anti-roll bar, a manual-control apparatus 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 capable of giving the axle a height serving as a reference for the automatic control. The invention comprises electric means 14 controlled manually, constituting the manual-control apparatus, and mechanical means 11, 12, 13 with which the electrical means interact, the said mechanical means acting on the slide valve 22 of the height corrector 23. <IMAGE>
