The invention relates to the technical sector of high-temperature cables. An electric safety cable, of the type comprising one or more copper conductors clad in a silicone rubber extruded envelope, with or without glass fibre or mineral fibre reinforcements with an outer silicone rubber sheathing or other method of finishing, the extruded envelope and the said outer sheathing if it exists, taking the form of a gum consisting of at least two components, one of which contains the catalyst, allowing cross-linking by addition of silicone rubber during polymerisation, the catalyst chosen containing no peroxide.
