PURPOSE:To obtain a dye image which has the substantially high max. density by a short period of heating and has a low fogging density by allowing a specific compd. to exist in the stage of releasing or forming a dye to an image shape by heating a photosensitive material after or simultaneously with image- wise exposure, thereby accelerating the forming speed of the dye image. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material having at least photosensitive silver halide, binder and dye donative material on a base is heated after or simultaneously with the image-wise exposure in the presence of the compd. expressed by the formula (A) to release or form the dye to the image shape. In the formula (A), R<1> denotes a hydrogen atom or substd. or non-substd. aliphat. hydrocarbon group of n-valency, R<2> and R<3> respectively denote a hydrogen atom or substd. or non-substd. aliphat. hydrocarbon group or arom. hydrocarbon group, R<2> and R<3> may be same or different. R<1> and R<2> and R<2> and R<3> may respectively form a hetero ring by combination, n denotes 1 or 2. Such compd. is usually used in a 0.01-20 times range by the weight of the color donative material. |
