PURPOSE:To improve the anti-creep performance by fitting a negative electrode case formed to satisfy A>C>B and a seal ring over the positive electrode case assuming A is the outer diameter at the upper section of seal ring prior to fitting, B is the outer diameter at the lower section and C is the inner diameter of positive electrode case. CONSTITUTION:The outer diameter A at the upper section of seal ring 2 is made larger than the inner diameter C of the positive electrode case 3 while smaller than the outer diameter B at the lower section of seal ring 2. The negative electrode case 1 is inserted into the positive electrode case 3 together with the seal ring 2, but since A>C>B, approximately 20kg pressure is required to be applied onto the top section of negative electrode case 1 in order to fit sufficiently in the positive electrode case 3. The difference of A-C should be less than 0.02mm. When applying ductile enclosing agent onto the inner wall of the positive electrode case 3, enclosing effect of cell is further improved/ The enclosing agent may include sealing material such as pitch, polyamid and other rubber system agent. Consequently, the anti-creeping performance of electrolyte through the sealed members can be improved considerably. |
