The modifications comprise setting the needles around a cylinder which is moved axially in a vertical direction by means of rods given a rectilinear reciprocating motion by cam on motor shaft placed horizontally. The needles are fed through thread guides placed in a circle on a disc and on a concentric ring which describes an angular reciprocating motion. The machine is used for making continuous knitted sleeves in natural or synthetic filaments.
