It is intended to expand the possibilities for use of a household cutting implement of the basic form of an apple corer (1) which has a coring tube (3) having a lateral discharge opening (2), and a rearward handle (4). For this purpose, it is provided that the handle (4) is hollow and as an extension of the discharge opening (2) is open, that mounted on the handle (4) such that it can be folded out is a cross-sectionally V- or U-shaped blade (9) which is completely concealed in the out-of-use position in the cavity of the handle (4) and optionally partially also in the cavity of the coring tube (3), and that the coring tube (3) is approximately as long as a hand is wide and in the region of its discharge opening (2) is constructed as a second handle for the cutting implement. <IMAGE>
