To produce ceramic sintered bodies, especially those based on alkaline earth metal titanates, alkaline earth metal zirconates, alkaline earth metal stannates and/or mixed crystals thereof, a starting material corresponding to the sintered bodies to be produced, with an addition of compounds which form a molten phase with the starting material, is sintered, those compounds being added to the starting material before sintering which locally and only temporarily form a molten phase with the starting material or form a highly viscous molten phase which distributes itself relatively slowly in the sintering starting material. |
