PURPOSE:To detect a fine area of color component effectively at a low loss while achieving a smaller size and a lighter wieght, by a method wherein an optical fiber is provided inside a cylindrical lightwave guide to light an object to be measured locally through the lightwave guide and th4e reflected light is detected through the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A fine area of a color-measuring part of an object 16 to be measured in lighted locally by a light introduced from a light source 15 through a cylindrical lightwave guide 11. The reflected light is introduced effectively to optical fibers 13a, 13b and 13c arranged at the center of the lightwave guide 11 and the color thereof is analyzed through color filters 17a, 17b and 17c provided at the end of each optical fiber 13 led out from a lightwave guide 11 to receive and detect lights with light receivers 18a, 18b and 18c. This enables effective utilization of an illumination light from a light source 15, thereby minimizing the required illumination light while achieving a smaller size and a lighter weight. |
