PURPOSE:To obtain the objective compound by using an acetophenone derivative and a nitro compound as raw materials, reducing and diazotizing the nitro group, subjecting the product to Meerwein arylation with an acrylic acid derivative and reacting with thiourea. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula VII (Y and Z are O or imino) can be produced by (1) reacting the compound of formula I (R<2> is H, lower alkyl, etc.; R<3> is H, aliphatic lower acyl, etc.; R<4> and R<5> are H, lower alkyl, etc.) with the compound of formula II (R<1> is H, lower alkyl, etc.; n is 1-3), reducing and optionally acylating the resultant compound of formula III, converting the compound to the compound of formula IV by elimination reaction, reducing and diazotizing the product, subjecting to the Meerwein acylation reaction with the acrylic acid derivative of formula V (A' is CN, etc.), reacting the produced compound of formula VI (X is halogen; A is A', etc.) with thiourea and, if necessary, hydrolyzing the reaction product. |
