<p>PURPOSE:To regenerate a liquid drying agent in high purity without consuming the other dry gas as the stripping due to a heated gas by cooling a gas discharged from a recondensation tower of a regeneration apparatus for the liquid drying agent to separate water content, thereafter drying it with the regenerated liquid drying agent, circulating and using it. CONSTITUTION:A liquid drying agent 33 such as triethylene glycol which is used in the dehumidification of a gas and contains steam and gas is sent to a recondensation tower 12 of the inside of a regeneration apparatus and brought into contact with the vapor and gas discharged from a reboiler 13. After the noncondensed gas and steam discharged through a line 17 are cooled with a cooler 12 and water content is separated with a separator 23, it is sent to a contact tower 26 and brought into contact with one part 27 of the regenerated liquid drying agent and dried. The gas after the drying is elevated in pressure with a blower 34 and thereafter heated with a heater 15 and sent to a contactor 14 and countercurrently brought into contact with the liquid drying agent fed from the reboiler 13. The liquid drying agent regenerated in high purity is cooled via a line 19 and thereafter used for the dehumidification of the gas. The liquid drying agent 30 absorbed with water content incorporated in the gas in the contact tower 26 is sent to the recondensation tower 12 via a line 32.</p> |
