PURPOSE:To enable stable recording for a long term even though large voltage is impressed on the recording device by a method wherein Au-plated films are adhered on both the surfaces of the individual electrodes and the common electrode. CONSTITUTION:Au-plated films 21 are adhered on the surfaces of individual electrodes 2a... patterned with Cu or Ni films on a first insulative substrate 1a and on the surface of a second common electrode 5 patterned with a Cu or Ni film on a second insulative substrate 1b. 10Angstrom or more and 20mum or less is proper as the film thicknesses of the Au-plated films 21 and the optimally desirable film thickness as the film thicknesses of the plated films is 5,000Angstrom more and 5mum or less. In this constitution, even though large voltage is impressed on this ink jet recording device, the individual electrodes 20 and the common electrode 5 are never eluted. As a result, a recording can be stably executed for a long term. |
