PURPOSE:To improve the space resolution of reconstituted images by using two-dimensional data in each direction to reconstitute the distribution image of single photon emissive nuclides in a plane vertical to the revolving shaft of a camera. CONSTITUTION:A radiation camera 1 is directed in one direction to measure the total quantity of data in each time phase in a prescribed area, which is provided in the visual field of the camera, in time division. A specific reference time phase is determined in accordance with the variance of the total quantity of data in each time phase. The camera 1 is rotated around a person 2 to be examined to gather two-dimensional data in each direction in each time phase in time division. Two-dimensional data in each time phase is obtained then, and position correction of two-dimensional data in time phases other than the reference time phase is performed on a basis of two-dimensional data in the reference time phase. Two-dimensional data in each time phase after this position correction are added in each position with respect to all time phases to generate two-dimensional data in the direction. Two-dimensional data in each direction generated in this manner is used to reconstitute the distribution image of single photon emissive nuclides in the plane vertical to the revolving shaft of the camera 1.
