Immersion tank cooling for compact electronic components such as transformers, choke coils, power converters etc., which are each immersed in a fluid in the tank which conducts away the dissipated energy, and are arrested in relation to the tank and the lid by bolts and sockets in the tank, the lid and the component. To ensure tight coupling even with relatively large differences between the bolt and the socket, the opening of the socket has a greater diameter than the bolt, and is partially filled with hardenable casting resin such that, when the bolt is immersed, it fills the socket and surrounds the immersed part of the bolt, and so that in the hardened state the resin forms a material-fitting and form-fitting joint between the socket and bolt. <IMAGE>
