摘要 An electric field driving device, a liquid crystal device, and an electronic apparatus are provided to make sub pixels of the same color have different directions of electric field applied to a material, thereby reducing the viewing angle-dependence of display colors. Pixel electrodes are respectively formed within sub-pixels(4R,4G,4B). A common electrode(26) is formed above the pixel electrodes such that at least a part of the common electrode overlaps the pixel electrodes in plan view. The common electrode has a plurality of slits(27). An insulating layer is formed between the pixel electrodes and the common electrode. A material is driven by electric field generated based on a difference of electric potential between each of the pixel electrodes and the common electrode. At least some of the slits overlap the pixel electrodes in plan view. At least some of the slits are parallel with each other within one sub pixel. A continuous portion, where at least some of the slits are linearly continuous over a plurality of sub pixels adjacent to each other, is included in one pixel(3). A longitudinal direction of the continuous portion within the one pixel is different from a longitudinal direction of a continuous portion within an adjacent pixel.
