PURPOSE:To have no need of a lead accumulator, by a method wherein electric power is stored by a motor as rotating power of a fly-wheel and as motor field magnet and thus the motor unit is rotated by electric brake action between the motor field magnet and an armature. CONSTITUTION:A fly-wheel 1 is accelerated by an alternating synchronous motor, and a change-over switch 16 for the exciting power is turned on, and the power is generated by a direct current series motor. Thus, when rotating energy is stored at a fly-wheel 1 and the rotational frequency is increased enough, then the change-over switch 16 and three-phase power source 12 are turned off. Then, in case of discharging the energy, a change-over switch 15 is turned on, electric brake action is generated between a field magnet and an armature when the terminal of the direct current series motor is connected, and the motor unit 4 starts rotating with the rotating power of the fly-wheel. |
