PURPOSE:To make the interposing motion of a separator performable so surely, by enlarging a clearance between the specified numbered sheet of paper sheets being rotationally conveyed by an impeller and the next conveying rear end with an auxiliary separator, in case of a bank bill arranger or the like. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary separator 40 is rotated clockwise when a conveying rear end of each of paper sheets P1, for example, the 100 sheets, gets separating from an impeller 10 by a guide member 21, and engages a lower surface of the 101 sheet of paper sheets P2 on its upper surface 40B. And, when the auxiliary separator 40 is further rotated, its turning end 40A presses an upper surface of the 100 sheet of these paper sheets P1 downward, enlarging a clearance in the conveying rear end part between both these paper sheets P1 and P2. Therefore, a separator 30 becomes so easy to be interposingly set up between both these paper sheets P1 and P2 as being rotated, whereby if turning timing in the separator 30 is somewhat staggered before and after, motion of the separator is accurately performable.
