PURPOSE:To improve the handling convenience of a controller for mixture of hot and cold water by detecting the hot/cold water temperature supplied to a mixing valve with the 1st and 2nd temperature detecting means and deciding the energizing amount of the mixing valve from the detected hot/cold water temperature and the set temperature of the delivered hot water. CONSTITUTION:A controller for mixture of hot and cold water is provided with a mixing valve 4, drive means 6 and 9 for the valve 4, a hot/cold water detecting means 11, a controller 12, a hot water temperature setting means 13, etc. Furthermore the 1st temperature detecting means 15 which detects the temperature of supplied cold water is added together with the 2nd temperature detecting means 16 for the temperature of supplied hot water. The output of both means 16 and 13 are compared with each other by a comparison means 17 of the controller 12. While a comparison arithmetic means 18 operates the ratio of energizing amount between both means 6 and 9 via the means 13 and both detecting means 15 and 16. Thus the hot water approximate to a set temperature is delivered safely even in case the dead water is supplied and then the hot water of a high temperature is suddenly supplied.
