PURPOSE:To eliminate a troublesome manipulation for a wiper, by detecting rain drops to automatically operate the wiper. CONSTITUTION:When a water drop is dropped on electrodes 1, 2 provided in a part of a front windshield pane 4, the electrodes are connected together. The electrodes are energized by a rain drop, a micro current runs through the electrodes, and is amplified by a transistor, and therefore, a wiper drive circuit is energized.
