The delivery arrangement for an I.C. engine includes a valve (4) whose stem guide (2) passes through the cylinder head (1). The valve cooperates with a seat (5), between which is located a floating disc (6). The valve seats on a portion (a) of the disc. By progressive descending of the disc, the intake of fresh fuel-air mixt. is a function of the reciprocal positions of the valve and disc. The arrangement correlates the mixt. supply to the conditions existing in the engine cylinders, i.e. it is related to power demand. A spring (7) can provide disc displacement, or it can be displaced by low pressure existing in the cylinders. |
