PURPOSE:To obtain the titled dispersant imparting the excellent dispersion properties and fluidity for a high-concn. slurry by incorporating a polyvalent polynuclear phenol and an alkylene oxide addition product of an aliphatic vinyl polymer having hydroxyl group. CONSTITUTION:An aimed dispersant is obtained by incorporating (A) a polyvalent polynuclear phenol consisting of a condensate of an aromatic compd. having phenolic hydroxyl group with a fatty acid aldehyde and (B) an alkylene oxide addition product of an aliphatic vinyl polymer having hydroxyl group consisting of a saponified material of a fatty acid vinyl ester polymer (polyether) or a modified polymer thereof. 1000-1 million mol. wt. of the alkylene oxide addition product is preferable, and a reaction product of terminal hydroxyl group and epihalohydrin or carboxyalkyl compd. are preferable as the modified polyether. |
