PURPOSE:To obtain a high degree of uniform magnetic field without the dimension in the axial direction made too large, by installing regulation coil parts at both end parts of main coils comprising inside and outside main conductor rows which are arranged on the circles having different radiuses and surrounding a cylindrical uniform magnetic field space. CONSTITUTION:On both end parts of main coils 2 surrounding a cylindrical uniform magnetic field space 7, regulation coil parts 3 are formed differently from the main coil parts 2, so that they are arranged at the section surrounded by inside and outside main conductor rows 10 and 20, and besides the inside and outside regulation conductor rows 30, and 40, which are arranged on the respective circles of radiuses r1 and r2, are electrically connected by jumper wires 39 to get their mutually reversed directions of current. Since the drop in magnetic flux density generated by the main coils at both end parts of the main coils, is compensated by the magnetic flux generated at the regulation coil parts, the uniformity of a uniform magnetic field can be kept high at the central part in the axial direction.
