<p>PURPOSE:To relieve a load attended with packet conversion by providing a means comparing the attribute of a calling terminal equipment with that of an incoming terminal equipment added to a call request packet sent from an outgoing side packet exchange. CONSTITUTION:A processor 9 sends an ABM set signal SABM to a terminal equipment 4 via a communication controller 7 and receives a reception reply signal UA, then uses a packet composing/decomposing section 91 to form an incoming signal UI (CN), transfers it to the terminal equipment 4 and an attribute comparison section 93 compares the terminal attribute c2 of an outgoing terminal equipment 2 received from a call request packet CR (c2) and a terminal attribute c4 corresponding to an incoming terminal equipment 4 extracted from a subscriber data area 81 in a memory device 8. When the terminal attributes c2, c4 of the outgoing terminal equipment 2 and the incoming terminal equipment 4 are coincident, since packet exchanges 1, 3 transfer each data frame I (DT) sent from the terminal equipment 2 as it is via a non-packet communication line 6, the load attended with the packet exchange is relieved.</p> |
