PURPOSE:To make copying determining paper size that can contain a partial image perfectly automatically by providing a device that feeds paper of optimum size and makes control of copying to transfer a partial image of an original formed on a photosensitive body on the paper. CONSTITUTION:The machine is provided with a device that irradiates light partially on a charged area on a photosensitive body to form an image of only a part of an original. The machine includes a device that designates an area of the original to be copied partially, a device to select magnification of copying used and a device that calculates optimum paper size from the size of designated area of the original and selected magnification of copying. Further, it is provided with a device that controls copying to feed paper of optimum size and transfer an image of a part of the original on the paper. Thereby, a CPU selects the minimum size of paper that can contain picture image area copied by the magnification automatically from the size of edited picture image area and selected magnification, and a user is freed from troublesome work of obtaining paper size to be used by calculation. |
