PURPOSE:To obtain a portable telephone set shielding effectively an electromagnetic wave, eliminating noise and minimizing the increase in the weight by covering a main body in contact with a telephone set main body with a metallic plate having good thermal conductivity and excellent electromagnetic wave shielding and providing a telescopic antenna connected to the telephone set main body to the case. CONSTITUTION:Plural throughholes 15, 15 linked to a large space 14 of a case main body 10 are opened at the side face of the case main body 10. The metallic plate 9 with good thermal conduction and excellent electromagnetic shielding such as an aluminum plate is supported to the case main body 10 by a hinge 92 in the large scale 14 in an opening and closing way. In closing the metallic plate 9, the plate 9 contacts the telephone set main body 3 and a battery 4. The telephone set main body 3 is overheated at talking but the case cover is opened and the telephone set main body 3 is covered with the metallic plate 9 with good thermal conductivity, then the overheat of the telephone set main body 3 in contact with the same metallic plate 9 through the metallic plate 9 is dissiplated effectively and since the throughhole 15 is opened to the case main body 10, the heat is no stored in the accommodated space.
