The invention relates to a connecting terminal (1) for connecting electrical conductors (14), without having to strip the insulation, in distributors of telecommunications installations, especially telephone exchange installations, consisting of two sprung legs, separated in the longitudinal direction and connected rigidly to each other at their one end, the spring legs bounding a clamping area for the electrical conductor (14) and an elongated hole (2) running between the clamping area and the rigid connection of the two spring legs, the connecting terminal (1) being produced in one piece from a metallic strip material, the spring legs in the clamping area being separated by cutting.
