PURPOSE:To enable a combination weighing to be performed with a good processing efficiency by conducting a quick disposition when a combination defect is generated. CONSTITUTION:The weights W1-Wn of 1-n pieces of commercial products, respectively, weighed by a weighing equipment (a) are inputted to a multiplexer (b). When inputted with a changeover signal Se from an arithmetic sequence unit (d), the multiplexer (b) sequentially fetches the weights W1-Wn to feed them to an A/D converter C, which converts the analog signals of the weights to digital signals and inputs them to the arithmetic sequence unit (d). Then, when a running key is turned on by a key input unit (e), the arithmetic sequence unit (d) conducts a predetermined combination operation for the inputted weights and selects an optimum combination equal or most approximate to a target weight among combinations involving the weights above a lower limit and below an upper limit. A driving signal Sd is given to a selected weighing equipment to make the equipment conduct such operations as the elevation, horizontal transfer, descent of a weighing head or the like, discharge the commercial product from the weighing equipment and supply the new product to the weighing equipment.
