PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor and a disk drive, capable of suppressing contact of a drawing wire conducting to a base drawing hole to a hole edge and preventing a gas from outlet and inlet.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a spindle motor 1 that comprises: a metal base part 40 having a base part penetration hole 42 penetrating an upper surface 40A, a lower surface 40B, and the upper surface 40A and the lower surface 40B, an insulation sheet part 52 that is disposed to the lower surface 40B, covers at least a part of the base part penetration hole 42, to which a leading line 34 is connected; a first sealing member 43a that is filled to the base part penetration hole 42; and a second sealing member 54a that covers at least a part of the base part penetration hole 42. A coefficient of linear expansion of the first sealing member 43a is larger than that of the base part 40 and is smaller than that of the second sealing member 54a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
