PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transparent conductor having a low electric resistance and especially high optical transparency with high productivity.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a transparent conductor 1, which comprises a step of forming at least a first high refractive index layer 3, a transparent metal layer 4 and a second high refractive index layer 5 in this order on a transparent substrate 2, wherein the step of forming the second high refractive index layer 5 forms an A layer and a B layer in this order from the side of the transparent metal layer 4 at least in a 2-layer configuration and has an atmospheric pressure adjustment step of retaining atmospheric pressure until the B layer is started to be formed after the formation of the A layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A |
