PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid sterilization method capable of performing sufficiently ultraviolet sterilization even in the case of liquid having high absorbance; and to provide a liquid sterilization device.SOLUTION: In a liquid sterilization method for sterilizing liquid by irradiating ultraviolet light thereto, the liquid is allowed to flow so as to keep a thin film state and a laminar flow state to form a liquid film, and the liquid film is irradiated with ultraviolet light to thereby perform liquid sterilization, and the thickness of the liquid film is determined based on the absorbance of the liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
