The components of the spacer (2) form a cohesive installation unit consisting of captive individual parts, for which purpose the two spacer halves (8, 9), which end in clamping shells (3) in the form of half-cylindrical shells, are in each case provided with cylindrical flexible intermediate layers (5, 15), which are at least partially mounted in said spacer halves (8, 9) and can be opened in an articulated manner, and the clamping means (6) are constructed in a captive manner. Even if fatigue appears in the flexible intermediate layers (5, 15) adequate prestressing from the clamping means (6) is maintained since spacers (18) are arranged on the spacer halves (8, 9) in such a manner that said spacers are elastically deformed during assembly. <IMAGE> |
