PURPOSE:To prevent slipping contact of a rotational side and a stationary side, by stabilizing a brake disk at a position in an axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A position of a shaft 5 with respect to a frame 2 is determined by a ball bearing 3 and a stopper 19 is disposed at a side of an armature 11 on the shaft so that a brake disk 8 is positioned at a center of the armature 11 and a clamping plate 10. In addition, a spring 15 is urged from an opposite side of the armature 11 for determining a position of the brake disk 8 in an axial direction. With this arrangement, slipping contact between a rotational side and a stationary side is prevented.
