PURPOSE:To detect quickly a wrong access to a non-processing area of a program memory by storing in advance an instruction for transferring error information to a host device, in and after a specified address. CONSTITUTION:When a non-processing area of a program memory 102 is brought to an access by mistake, a jump instruction stored therein is read out, and it jumps to a specified address in the memory 102. In a prescribed area in and after the specified address, an error processing program is stored in advance, and by this program, an error code is stored in a specified area of a work memory block 105 for storing a recognition character code or a reject code at the time of a normal operation, and an end signal is sent to a control processor 11. The processor 11 detects it and reads out the specified area of the memory block 105, and executes such processings as an error generation display corresponding to the error code, an error processing of reloading, etc. and a continuous operation of an endurance test, etc. |
