PURPOSE:To adhere a transfer material tightly to a drum without suddenly changing the entrance angle of the transfer material and to obtain a clear image by setting up a cylindrical member on a position narrowing a discharging area due to transfer corotron. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical member 7 is arranged on the position narrowing the discharging area due to transfer corotron 4 at the inlet of a shielding member 3 storing the corotron 4. The cylindrical member 7 is provided freely rotably by abutting press-contact pipes 8 arranged on both the end parts of the member 7 upon the drum 1. Since the member 7 is provided, the transfer material is allowed to contact with the drum 1 before discharged by the corotron 4, and smoothly tightly adhered to the drum 1. Thereby, the transfer material can be prevented from defective traveling or rear jumping which may be generated due to the entrance of the transfer material at an acute angle in the ordinary adhering method, and since transfer is executed after adhesion, a clear image can be obtained.
