PURPOSE:To enable the easy and sure adjustment of the engagement of pinions against the deformation due to the thermal expansion of a rotary base by adjusting with the fittings respectively fitted to a frame and fixed base and a screw bar the position of the pinion engaging with a rotary base and the frame of motor for its driving. CONSTITUTION:The rotary 1 forging with compression by placing a blank on is rotated on a fixed base 5 by the driving of a motor 9 via the pinion 2 which engages with the rotary base 1 by fitting it to a frame 11. The above frame 11 is supported with the fitting to the shaft via an adjusting mechanism of either one part of the arm parts 19, 22 fixed to the frame 11 or the brackets 13, 17 fixed to the fixed base 5. The above adjusting mechanism is formed by the fittings 24 fitted to the arm part 22 and the screw bar 31 loosely fitted to the through hole 30 thereof. In case of the rotary base 1 being formed by the thermal expansion the engagement of the rotary base 1 and pinion 2 is adjusted by varying the position and angle of the frame 11 with the adjustment of the seat metal 35, 35 having the taper face engaging with the screw bar 31 and the nut 36, 36 fixing thereof.
