PURPOSE:To permit distribution, concentration and specified blow-off at any arbitrary position of blow-off air and obtain the optimum temperature distribution in accordance with the condition of a living room by a method wherein an airflow direction deflecting unit deflecting air into up-and-down direction, the same unit deflecting the air leftwardly, and the same unit deflecting the air into rightwardly are driven independently so as to be reciprocated. CONSTITUTION:The airflow deflecting unit 2, deflecting air into up-and-down direction, the same unit 3, deflecting the air leftwardly, and the same unit 4, deflecting the air rightwardly, are constituted of vanes, supported pivotably at the blow-off port 1a of the air-conditioning machine 1 while respective airflow direction deflecting units 2, 3, 4 are pivoted reciprocally and controlled independently by motors 5, 6, 7. Various combined ventilations in accordance with the positions of individual airflow direction deflecting means, such as upper-blow ventilation divided into left and right, the upper-blow ventilation concentrated to the central direction, lower-blow ventilation divided into left and right, the lower-blow ventilation concentrated into central direction and the like, for examples, or the ventilation in which these ventilations are continuous, may be effected, whereby the temperature distribution may be optimized in accordance with the condition of the living room.
