The present invention relates to a ski, particularly for use in alpine skiing. The upper face of the ski 1 has, hollowed out, means 11 forming a housing, bordered by continuous zones 4a of this upper face, respectively on either side according to a transverse direction relative to the median longitudinal plane of the ski; in these means 11 forming a housing are placed, at least in basic terms, set back relative to the upper face of the ski, the means 23, 24 for assembly and, if appropriate, for adjustment of the front 15 and rear 16 bearing surfaces, in the case of a boot 14 in the fitted position, of the front stop 19 and of the heel piece 21, which are intended to hold this boot in the fitted position, and of any ski brake 47.
