PURPOSE:To reduce the margin at a trailing end part of a paper, by providing a paper bail member for pressing the paper against a feeding roller between a pinch roller and a recording head. CONSTITUTION:The paper bail member 10 is turnably supported on a pinch roller shaft 9, and is energized clockwise by a tension spring 13 fitted between an arm form projected part 11 integral with the member 10 and a base 12, whereby a tip part of the member 10 is pressed against the feeding roller 1. Accordingly, since the paper can be pressed against the roller 1 between the pinch roller 3 and the recording head 5, the paper can be securely fed until it is separated from the member 10, whereby the distance from the trailing end of the paper to the recordable part of the paper can be shortened, and the blank part can be made smaller.
