In order to produce semifinished products from fibre-reinforced plastics, fibre material in bound form is introduced continuously or batchwise into an impregnation zone and impregnated with liquid plastic. For very uniform and rapid distribution of the plastic in the fibre material, the fibre material and the plastic in the impregnation zone are exposed to ultrasound.
