PURPOSE:To obtain a correcting print not by printing by applying picture element density conversion, gradation conversion and parallel/series conversion to a picture data extracted by scanner, giving the result to a thermal transfer printer and forming the correcting print by the sublimation transfer system. CONSTITUTION:A picture data extracted from a decomposition drum of a scanner is subjected to picture element density conversion, gradation conversion and parallel/series conversion so as to be suited to printer operation and the result is given to a sublimation transfer printer, which forms a picture to a sublimation transfer sheet based thereupon. That is, the printer receives the picture data from a branch device 124 and a mask signal from a mask signal circuit 132 and a scanner clock from a scanner clock circuit 133 so as to apply various conversions required to form the correcting print. For the conversions, a gate 211, a lookup table 212, a buffer 213 and a parallel/series converter 214 are provided, a signal after the conversion is given to a transfer head 216 via a driver 215 and a dyestuff of a transfer sheet Z is sublimed and transferred to reception paper on a transfer drum 217. |
