PURPOSE:To contrive to simultaneously ensure both the space heating function and the additional burning function of bathwater by a method wherein a controlling means, which brings an changing-over means to additional burning operation into actuation preferentially when a heating operation instruction signal and an additional burning operation instruction signal are received simultaneously, is provided. CONSTITUTION:When the additional burning operation of bathwater and the space heating operation are requested simultaneously, the turning OFF of a normally closed contact X3-4 due to the turning ON of a relay X3 for additional burning blocks an changing-over means 20 to heating operation and brings an changing-over means 22 to additional burning operation into actuation preferentially, resulting in quickly heating the bathwater additionally and consequently giving no sense of discomfort to a bather. In addition, because the additional burning operation only lasts the short period of time for compensating the hot water temperature drop due to the heat dissipation from a bathtub, the heat absorbed by a human body and the like, the time of completion of additional burning, at which a bath water temperature thermostat TH2 turns OFF, or the time of actuation of the changing-over means 20 to heating operation becomes comparatively earlier, resulting in ensuring favorable space heating function. Furthermore, because the additional burning operation and the heating operation are performed in one single operation following on the heels of the other single operation, the small capacity compressor is sufficient enough. |
